Erika Prado enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team. With playing experience at NCAA Division II and professional levels, Prado brings a wealth of knowledge to the Broncos' soccer program.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities at CPP, Prado also serves as a coach for the Los Angeles Premier Futbol Club. She also is the founder and lead trainer of Erika Futbol Clinics.

Prado's coaching emphasis is on technique and she demonstrated those skills at the professional level in the United Soccer Leagues (USL) and the Russian Champions League. She put together a prolific collegiate career at Cal State L.A., where she became the single-season and all-time assist leader in the program's record books.

From there, Prado played for the Pali Blues in 2008 and helped the team capture the USL W-League championship. In 2009, she competed for FC Indiana and guided the squad to a USL W-League Midwest Division title. Her final professional season came in 2011 when she competed for FC Energiya of the Russian Champions League.

Prado is a graduate of Cal State L.A. and she earned a Kinesiology degree in 2011. A certified NFPT Personal Trainer, Prado also holds a CYSA Cal South Coaching License C.
