Haley Hong enters her second season as an assistant women's soccer coach for Cal Poly Pomona in 2026.
Hong helped lead the Broncos to their second straight NCAA West Region Title in 2025, going 18-3-3 overall while reaching the national semifinals in Colorado Springs. The team also won their third straight CCAA regular season title with a conference record of 7-1-3, becoming just the second school in conference history to earn three straight titles.
As a player at CPP from 2022-24, Hong developed into a reliable contributor for one of the nation's premier NCAA Division II women's soccer programs. As a true freshman in 2022, she was one of just seven Broncos to appear in all 18 matches, logging 484 minutes and making her collegiate debut against Concordia Irvine. She earned her first career start at Regis, playing a season-high 57 minutes, and finished the year with two shots while also receiving CCAA All-Academic recognition.
She continued to expand her role during her sophomore season in 2023, appearing in 11 matches with three starts and totaling 234 minutes on the pitch. She recorded five shots, including one on goal, while helping the Broncos outscore opponents 16-8 in matches she played. Her success in the classroom was recognized with a spot on the CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll.
As a junior in 2024, she was part of Cal Poly Pomona's NCAA Division II National Championship team. She appeared in five matches and played 53 minutes as the Broncos captured the national title, again earning CCAA All-Academic honors.
