Louis Hunt enters his third season in 2015 as an assistant coach for the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team and his first as the top assistant. With playing and coaching experience in the U.S. and Europe, Hunt brings a great passion for the game to the Broncos' soccer program.

The 2014-15 season proved to be a wildly successful one for the Broncos as the team posted the second-best record in program history. The women also advanced to the third-round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs in Golden, Colo. Many defensive records were set including 13 shutouts and six-consecutive shutouts.

A native of the UK, Hunt graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2005 with a degree in Sports Studies. During the school holidays, he helped the Aston Villa Football Club with its "Coaching in the Community" program.

After graduating from Wolverhampton, Hunt began to move up the club and high school coaching ranks in the U.S. From 2009 to 2012, he served as the head coach at Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena and helped the program reach the CIF postseason three years in a row.

At the professional level of coaching, Hunt served as the goalkeeper coach for the L.A. Strikers during the 2012 W-League season. Currently, he is the Director of Coaching for the L.A. Premier Futbol Club.

Hunt holds various coaching licenses, including the "A" License, National Goalkeeper License and National Youth License from the USSF. He also earned the NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma.
