Biography
As a Junior in 2011: Starred in the 400-meter hurdles event as a junior, racing to a season-best time of 62.76 on May 1 at UC Irvine... That mark landed a "B" provisional standard, which fell just short of granting her a spot at the national meet... Also raced well in the 400-meter event, collecting the team's third-best time of 59.68... Member of the squad's top 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.
At Sacramento City College: Helped guide the Panthers' 4x100 relay team to a state championship in 2009.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Elk Grove High School... Named the Most Outstanding Female Athlete at Elk Grove and also earned scholar-athlete status while enrolled in advanced placement classes... Owns two program records for the Thundering Herd in the 400-meter hurdles (68.39) and the 60-meter hurdles (10.74).
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Grace Moreno... Has three younger siblings named Esteban, Paloma and Isabella... Enjoys reading and watching television in her free time...
