Emma Barrow enters her first season as an assistant coach of the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team in the 2026 season.

Barrow most recently served as an assistant coach at Western Oregon in 2025, where she helped lead the Wolves to the NCAA postseason with an 11-5-5 record. Prior to that, she was an assistant coach at CSU Bakersfield in 2024, where she helped guide the Roadrunners to a Big West Championship title game appearance.

As a student-athlete, Barrow competed at the NCAA Division I level at the University of San Diego from 2016-19, appearing in 40 matches with 24 starts as a defender and midfielder. She totaled two goals and one assist while logging more than 2,100 minutes for the Toreros. Barrow concluded her collegiate career at Cal Poly Pomona in 2021, where she made an immediate impact leading the team with six goals and an assist. She earned All-CCAA Honorable Mention recognition and was named to the 2020 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll.

A native of Castro Valley, California, Barrow earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology: Law, Crime and Social Justice from the University of San Diego in 2020. She later returned to Cal Poly Pomona to complete her Master of Public Administration (MPA) in 2022. Barrow’s return marks a homecoming for the former Bronco, now set to contribute to the continued success of the program from the sidelines.
