Jenny Miller returned to Cal Poly Pomona as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance in January 2026. She previously held the position for seven years from 2014-2021.
In her role with the Broncos, Miller provides compliance oversight of the department, university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations and eligibility oversight of student-athlete practice and participation. She also serves as the department's admissions, financial aid, and housing liaison.
In addition to her responsibilities at CPP, Miller is a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) and has served on several committees, including the NCAA Academic Requirements Committee, Subcommittee for Initial Eligibility, Student Records Review Committee, and the DII Academic Interpretation Subcommittee.
With more than two decades of athletics compliance experience, Miller most recently served as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at San José State University from 2020-22. She then spent two years teaching high school science at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower before returning for her second stint at Cal Poly Pomona. Prior to originally joining CPP in 2014, Miller served as UC Riverside's Director of Compliance at the Division I level.
While serving as UCR's Director of Compliance, Miller developed and coordinated a comprehensive athletics compliance office and provided guidance, support and direction to members of the department. She created a rules education plan and provided NCAA and Big West Conference rules education sessions to coaches, student-athletes, staff and campus groups.
Before her time with the Highlanders of UCR, Miller worked as a Compliance Assistant at UC Irvine from 2009 through 2011. Prior to her stint with the Anteaters, she was the compliance coordinator at San Jose State from 2005 through 2009.
Miller received her bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State where she competed in cross country and track and field for the Lumberjacks before serving as an assistant cross country coach and compliance assistant. She previously attended College of the Sequoias in her hometown of Visalia, Calif., and was a member of the cross country and track and field teams.
Miller lives in Garden Grove with her three dogs: Faye Marie, Polly Rae, and Sandra Dee.
