Jennifer Miller returned to Cal Poly Pomona as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance in January 2026. She previously held the position for seven years from 2014-2021.
In her role with the Broncos, Miller provides compliance oversight of the department, university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations and eligibility oversight of student-athlete practice and participation.
In addition to her compliance responsibilities at CPP, Miller is also a member of NACWAA (National Association of Collegiate Women's Athletic Administrators) and also serves on several committees, including the NCAA Academic Requirements Committee, Subcommittee for Initial Eligibility, Student Records Review Committee, and the DII Academic Interpretation Subcommittee.
With more than a decade of athletics compliance experience, Miller served as UC Riverside's Director of Compliance at the Division I level prior to arriving at CPP.
While serving as UCR's Director of Compliance, Miller developed and coordinated a comprehensive athletics compliance office and provided guidance, support and direction to members of the department. She created a rules education plan and provided NCAA and Big West Conference rules education sessions to coaches, student-athletes, staff and campus groups.
Before her time with the Highlanders of UCR, Miller worked as a Compliance Assistant at UC Irvine from 2009 through 2011. Prior to her stint with the Anteaters, she was the compliance coordinator at San Jose State from 2005 through 2009.
Miller received her bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State where she competed in cross country and track and field for the Lumberjacks before serving as an assistant cross country coach and compliance assistant. She previously attended College of the Sequoias in her hometown of Visalia, Calif., and was a member of the cross country and track and field teams.
Miller completed her course work for a graduate degree at San Jose State in 2008. She is also a 2008 graduate of the NACWAA/HERS Institute for Administrative Advancement.
