Cal Poly Pomona junior Carmen Knighton of Sacramento, Calif., continued her progression in the pole vault Saturday at the Ben Brown Invite in Fullerton, recording a height of 10-00.5 that that ranks fifth all-time in the Broncos' record books. The previous best for Knighton, a Sacramento City College transfer, was the 9-6.25 she posted during the season opener at UC San Diego on Feb. 18.
