Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

In a breakout performance this past weekend, Brooke Gamble of the Cal Poly Pomona women's track and field team set personal bests in the 200- and 400-meter events. On Saturday, she moved into ninth all-time in the Broncos' record books for the 200 event with a time of 24.89. As of last week's marks across the Division II level, Gamble's 24.89 time in the 200 ranks at No. 18 nationally.
 
On Sunday, Gamble recorded a 56.73 mark in the 400 and also guided the CPP 4x400 relay team register a time of 3:50.22. That mark ranks third in the Broncos' record books and stands as the program's best result in that event since 1984.
