Senior midfielder Abraham Gomez helped the Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer team go 2-0 this past week with home wins against Academy of Art and Point Loma Nazarene. The Chula Vista, Calif., native tallied three goals and an assist for a total of seven points.

He recorded the game-winning goals in both matches and during Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Sea Lions of PLNU, Gomez accounted for all of the Broncos' scoring. He is in his second year at CPP and Thursday's goal against AAU was his first as a Bronco.
