Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Tiffany Dinh of the Cal Poly Pomona women's cross country team finished as the conference's second-fastest runner Saturday at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships held at UC San Diego.

After collecting All-American honors last season, Dinh's 2012 postseason is off to a strong start individually as she raced through the 6,000-meter course Saturday in a time of 21:53.7. Placing within the top 15, Dinh received All-CCAA First Team recognition for the third-consecutive year.

As a team, the Broncos placed fifth with 128 points. Chico State collected 35 points to capture its fifth-straight CCAA title.
