Cal Poly Pomona distance star Ryan Carrell landed a spot in the program record books late Friday night at the Mt. SAC Relays, highlighting a series of impressive performances by the Broncos' men's track and field team.

Carrell finished fourth in the 5,000-meter race at Mt. SAC with a time of 14:26.36, marking the 10th-best time in school history and the best time since 2005. It also gave Carrell his first "B" provisional qualifying mark of 2013.
