Junior guard Daniel Rodriguez put together a stellar performance Tuesday in the conference opener against local rival Cal State San Bernardino. The Covina native played 32 minutes and in that time, he scored 12 points and added seven rebounds. He shot 5-for-9 from the field and totaled a season-high three steals.

A layup from Rodriguez with 6:12 on the clock tied the score at 47-47 but San Bernardino finished strong to secure the nine-point win. The Broncos will return to action Saturday with a 7:30 p.m. home game against UC San Diego.
