Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Junior guard Ariel Marsh put together two great performances this past week in leading the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team to home wins over Cal State San Bernardino and Merrimack.

On Tuesday in CPP's conference opener against the Coyotes, Marsh totaled 13 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field. Her top-notch shooting continued Saturday in a non-conference matchup with Merrimack. The Chino Hills native collected 19 points and a career-high eight assists. Marsh also added five rebounds while going 8-for-8 at the free throw line.

The Broncos, now 4-1 overall, will return to action Saturday with a 5:30 p.m. home game against UC San Diego.
