Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Junior center Jada Blackwell led the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team to a comeback win Saturday as the Broncos topped Humboldt State 70-65 after trailing by 18 points at halftime. Blackwell tallied an efficient 24 points in 31 minutes of action while also collecting nine rebounds and a season-high four steals.

With Blackwell's help, the Broncos are now 6-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play. CPP joins San Francisco State as the only two teams still undefeated in CCAA action. The Broncos will return to action Saturday with a 5:30 p.m. road game at Humboldt State.
