Nick Cooksey provided plenty of clutch hits this past weekend at Chico State. In the top of the ninth inning during game one of Saturday's doubleheader, Cooksey started a rally with a double and ended up scoring the tying run in that inning. On Sunday, Cooksey delivered the go-ahead RBI in another ninth-inning rally for the Broncos. CPP captured a 6-4 win in the series finale to clinch its first postseason berth since 2011.

The Broncos will finish their regular season on Tuesday with a 5 p.m. non-conference game at Azusa Pacific.
