Racing through puddles and mud Saturday morning in Louisville, the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team finished 16th at the NCAA Division II National Championships.

Mark Huizar wrapped up his sophomore season with another strong performance, placing 45th individually with a time of 31:39.2. The mark he recorded at regionals last month - 30:48.89 - stands as the sixth-fastest 10K time in school history and the fastest in 24 years.
