Competing on Thursday and Friday at the Claremont Classic XII in the heptathlon, Cal Poly Pomona senior Erin Zwinger set a new personal best with 4,978 points.

That mark puts Zwinger at No. 5 in the Broncos' all-time record book and her total of 4,978 is the highest for CPP since 1989. It also moves Zwinger up one spot in this season's NCAA Division II rankings.
