Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

With a strong representation on Friday, the Cal Poly Pomona men's track and field team competed at the Redlands Invite hosted by the University of Redlands Bulldogs.
 
As he has done a couple times already, Ahmed Abdul-Rahman secured first place in both the shot put and discus events. In the shot put he led the field with a distance of 14.49 meters, also a best in his time with CPP, and his distance in the discus was 46.47 meters. Abdul-Rhaman also finished second in the hammer throw.
