Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

With a busy year in the books for Cal Poly Pomona baseball, one in which the team reached the College World Series for the second-consecutive season, classwork was important and the players didn't shy away. As a team baseball recorded the highest team GPA for the year in Bronco Athletics. 

Earning his title as Bronco Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Aug. 1-8, Alex Kline posted a 3.75 GPA throughout the course of the 2015-16 academic year. 

Kline is a business administration major with an emphasis in computer information systems and one day aspires to either play baseball professionally or become a web developer.
