With a busy year in the books for Cal Poly Pomona baseball, one in which the team reached the College World Series for the second-consecutive season, classwork was important and the players didn't shy away. As a team baseball recorded the highest team GPA for the year in Bronco Athletics.

Michael Erb has been selected as one of the Bronco Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Aug. 22-29. His selection comes as a result of his dedication in the classroom.

Erb, a kinesiology major, posted a 3.64 GPA throughout the course of the 2015-16 academic year. The San Clemente native aspires to one day become a physician's assistant.
