Megan Ford, a native of Newhall, Calif., led the Cal Poly Pomona women’s basketball team to a pair of impressive road victories this past week. First on Friday, Ford registered six points, eight rebounds and two blocks in helping the Broncos hand Cal State Monterey Bay its first loss of the 2010-11 campaign, with CPP winning 58-55. The next night, the junior center scored a team-high 18 points as the Broncos topped San Francisco State, 72-59. Ford just missed a double-double, as she collected nine rebounds to go along with four assists as well.
