As a senior transfer from UC Davis, Lance Walkington has been quick to make an impact on the Cal Poly Pomona men’s track and field squad. On Saturday at the Ben Brown Invitational on the campus of Cal State Fullerton, Walkington fired a javelin mark of 207-7 to tie the Broncos’ program record and earn him a provisional national qualifier (PNQ).
