HAYWARD – Senior Elizabeth Diaz led Cal Poly Pomona with 12 kills, but the visiting Broncos were handed a 3-0 loss by Cal State East Bay in California Collegiate Athletic Association volleyball Saturday night.

The Broncos, now 8-12 overall and 5-8 in league, face No. 2 CSU San Bernardino on Wednesday night in San Bernardino. CSUEB improved to 7-14, 5-8.

The Pioneers earned their 25-21, 25-17, 27-25 victory with 42 kills and just 14 errors on the attack. They finished with a .246 attack percentage, while CPP was 39-21-120 (.150).

Courtney Alberi, Lindsey Poulos, Jasmine Davis and Kellie Hall each had two block assists, while Kristin McNeese and Taylr Kreutziger each had six kills.

Roxanne Neely led CSUEB with 10 kills.
