@cppwsoccer Returns for Key Matches at Home

POMONA, Calif. – After an undefeated road swing, the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team will host Cal State San Bernardino and Chico State this week in a key set of conference matches.

The Broncos stand at 6-3-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), putting them in a four-team tie for sixth place in the league standings. This week's opponents, the Coyotes and Wildcats, are also locked in that same tie with identical 3-2-1 marks in league action.

On Wednesday, CPP hosts Cal State San Bernardino on Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Kellogg Field. Then on Friday, the Broncos will battle Chico State during Heroes Night when current and former police, fire and military personnel receive free admission. On Friday, the first 75 fans will receive a free Broncos' water bottle courtesy of CPP University Police and the Veterans Resource Center.

The Broncos' offense continues to rank toward the top of the CCAA leaderboard as CPP has scored 11 goals in conference play, the second-highest total in the league. It's been a balanced effort with 14 different Broncos scoring this season and Daisy Duran leading the way with three goals.
