POMONA, Calif. - "Build the Future" is a 36-hour online fundraising campaign that is running from 9 a.m. on October 6 to 9 p.m. on October 7. It's an opportunity for alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends to show their support for academics, athletics and every program in between. Our goal for this campaign is to raise $77,000.No matter what your passion is, Cal Poly Pomona can be an effective instrument for change. At our university, gifts of all sizes can make a positive difference in the lives of students and the greater community.
Most people don't realize that while Cal Poly Pomona is a state university, it is not fully state supported, but rather state assisted. Every dollar of support from each donor contributes to Cal Poly Pomona's mission of providing lifelong learning to students.
Our team of development officers have helped donors expand learning experiences, propel faculty research, enrich community programs, build state-of-the-art facilities, and so much more.
Gifts enhance the Cal Poly Pomona experience and at the same time can help our donors effect meaningful change in issues important to them. They can also provide generous tax breaks and savings opportunities through planned giving.
Why is the goal $77,000?Cal Poly Pomona turns 77 years old this year, and we're confident that our generous Bronco family will exceed last year's success in support of our students.
How does it work?Any individual or business can make a gift to any area on campus or to the area of greatest need. There is no maximum gift. All donations are tax deductible. All donors will be listed on this website unless requested otherwise by the donor.
Can I send in a gift by phone or mail?In order for your gift to count toward the "Build the Future" campaign, it must be made between 9 a.m. October 9 to 9 p.m. October 10. You can call (909) 869-4231 to make your gift over the phone, but gifts will not be accepted via mail during this campaign. Most of our donors prefer to give using our website:
cpp.edu/give. There are many
