POMONA, Calif. - Following four-straight games at Kellogg Gym, the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team will now take to the road.

This week's trip will begin with the Warriors of Cal State Stanislaus on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Arena and then move on to Acker Gymnasium on Saturday with a 5:30 p.m. matchup against the Wildcats of Chico State.
 
After last weekend's split with Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal State East Bay, the Broncos sit in third place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) with an 11-3 conference tally and a 13-5 overall standing. The Warriors currently own a 6-12 season record and a 4-10 mark in the CCAA.
 
Friday's matchup in Turlock will serve as the Homecoming Game for the Warriors.
 
As it has been for a long while, CPP has numerous players spread out across the CCAA leaderboards. Senior Jada Blackwell averages 19.1 points per game, which places her at No. 1 in the conference in that category. She also takes first place in field goals made this season. In scoring average, Ariel Marsh sits just a couple spots behind Blackwell with 17.7 points per game.
 
Blackwell also holds second place in the CCAA with a 40-percent shooting mark from beyond the arc. Ashley Lovett's field goal percentage of 56.5 lands her at third place on the boards. Also at third place, but in the assists category, is Lauren Goecke with an average of 4.1 per game.
 
On Jan. 3, the reunion night for the 1985 National Championship team, the Broncos bested the Warriors 86-59 at Kellogg Gym.
 
Last time CPP and the Wildcats met, the Green and Gold squad walked away victorious with an 81-76 victory. The two will meet again on Chico's home court in Art Acker Gymnasium at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. On Friday, Chico takes on the UC San Diego Tritons.
 
So far this season, the Wildcats are 4-10 in conference play and 7-11 overall.
