BILLINGS, Mont. – After playing nearly even with Montana State Billings through three quarters, the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball couldn't hold off the Yellowjackets and dropped a 64-50 result on Saturday.
It marked the end of the Yellowjacket Classic, a two-day non-conference tournament hosted by MSUB.
The Broncos now hold a 2-2 overall record, which they'll take into Canada for a pair of games against Simon Fraser on Friday and Saturday.

Priscilla Brooks put together another stellar performance on Saturday, totaling 12 points and seven rebounds. In each of the four games so far, she has totaled at least eight points and seven boards.
The Broncos fell behind 27-22 late in the second quarter but
Casey McWilliam sank a three-pointer and Brooks followed with a layup to even the score. The Yellowjackets knocked down a triple to retake a 30-27 lead heading into halftime.
MSUB widened its lead to eight in the third quarter but CPP didn't back down, earning a layup from
Dominique Dotson at the end of the frame to make it a 47-44 score in favor of the home team.
The Yellowjackets managed to outscore the Broncos 17-6 in the fourth and final quarter. Dotson and McWilliam ended up with nine points apiece to help the CPP offense while
Chelsea Waddy-Blow grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
