@cppwbb to Challenge Chico in ESPN3 Game

POMONA, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team will head north for their second-to-last weekend of regular season play. This week's contests will be a Friday night showing between the Broncos and the Chico State Wildcats.
 
Friday's showdown will be featured on ESPN3 and is set to begin at 5:30 at Art Acker Gymnasium in Chico. Thus far this season, the Wildcats have amassed a 5-11 mark thus far in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play and an overall record of 10-12. 
 
Heading into the Friday night game, the Broncos have secured a 9-15 overall record, complete with a 7-10 mark in CCAA play.
 
For fans unable to attend the ESPN3 games in Chico, there will be a viewing party held at the Bronco Student Center.

With all 2,057 seats in Acker Gym officially sold out ahead of Friday night's ESPN3 doubleheader against Cal Poly Pomona, here's how you can watch from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. The women's game is scheduled to tip at 5:30 and then men's no earlier than 7:30.
 
There will not be any tickets available on the night of the game.
 
If you have purchased will-call tickets through the University Box Office, those are available at the University Box Office on the corner of third and Chestnut today until 6 p.m., Friday until 3 p.m., and at the ticket window outside of Acker Gym beginning Friday at 4:30.

The last time the Broncos and Wildcats met was Jan. 9 and the Green and Gold prevailed 68-58. Since then, the Chico State squad has gone 5-4, with a 4-4 conference record.
 
Once the game has been played, CPP will set its sights on Stanislaus State. The Warriors will look to defend Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena from the Broncos as they look to avenge the 67-50 loss to Stanislaus in Kellogg Arena on Jan. 7.
 
Before they host the Green and Gold on Saturday, the Warriors will host the Humboldt State Jacks on Friday. HSU has thus far recorded an even 12-12 record on the season complete with a 9-8 showing among CCAA opponents. This season has seen the Warriors tally a 10-6 conference record en route to their season record of 14-8.
 
The Broncos will complete the regular season at Homecoming on Saturday, Feb. 27 against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars at 5:30 p.m. inside Kellogg Arena. The game will mark senior night for Mary Williams as she is in her final season of eligibility with the Broncos.
