POMONA, Calif. – After earning a decisive win on the road last week, the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team look to carry that momentum as they return to Kellogg Arena on Thursday against Stanislaus State and Saturday against Chico State.
Last Week: In their only competition of the week, the Broncos (8-7, 6-3 CCAA) earned a 68-47 road win at Cal State San Marcos.
Chelsea Waddy-Blow led her squad with a game high 25 points along with 12 rebounds.
Quick Hits: The win moves the Broncos into a tie for third place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association standings along with Cal State East Bay, sitting three games outside of first-place UC San Diego.
Holding their opponent to under 50 points for the fifth time this season, CPP continues to be one of the more dominating defenses in the league. The Broncos are allowing the fewest points on average (56.3) and hold their opponents to the second lowest field goal percentage (.352) in the CCAA.
