POMONA, Calif. – After earning a decisive win on the road last week, the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team look to carry that momentum as they return to Kellogg Arena on Thursday against Stanislaus State and Saturday against Chico State.
 
Last Week: In their only competition of the week, the Broncos (8-7, 6-3 CCAA) earned a 68-47 road win at Cal State San Marcos. Chelsea Waddy-Blow led her squad with a game high 25 points along with 12 rebounds.
 
Quick Hits:
 The win moves the Broncos into a tie for third place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association standings along with Cal State East Bay, sitting three games outside of first-place UC San Diego.
 
Holding their opponent to under 50 points for the fifth time this season, CPP continues to be one of the more dominating defenses in the league. The Broncos are allowing the fewest points on average (56.3) and hold their opponents to the second lowest field goal percentage (.352) in the CCAA.
 
Waddy-Blow has moved up to 14th on the conference scoring list, averaging 12.6 points per game, and ranks ninth in rebounding average at 6.6 while Priscilla Brooks still sits in the number two spot in rebounding with an average of 8.5 rebounds per game.
 
The Broncos have been efficient from three-point range, tallying the highest three-point percentage (.354) thanks to the efforts of Casey McWilliam and Dominique Dotson who have totaled 19 and 18 threes respectively.

About Stanislaus State:
-At second place in the conference standings, Stanislaus State enters the weekend at 7-2 in CCAA play, going 9-9 on the season.
-Against CCAA schools, Stanislaus State averages 59.4 points while giving up 53.6
