SAN MARCOS - The Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer bounced back from an overtime loss on Friday with an offensive performance against Cal State San Marco, winning 4-0 on the road on Sunday afternoon.

The Broncos improve to 8-3 overall on the year and 4-2 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

With the first half coming to a close,
Sergi Monso converted a penalty kick for the first score of the day, knocking the ball to the left corner of the net.

In the second half, Monso sent a pass to
Luis Najera Jr. for the second goal of the game as he finished in the far left side of the net in the 58th minute of play.

The Broncos finished with 11 total shots, including six on target while the Cougars got off six shots with three landing on goal.

Monso continued his scoring ways, tallying his second goal of the day, 15th of the season, as he took a pass from Najera and
Ibrahima Diakite in the 78th minute of action.

With just three minute left to go in regulation,
Jimmie Villalobos earned the final goal of the night, getting an assist for Monso on a through ball before knocking the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

The Broncos return home for two matches at Kellogg field starting on Friday, Oct. 6 against Humboldt State before hosting Sonoma State on Sunday.
