Pomona – The Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team returns to Kellogg Arena as they host Antelope Valley on Wednesday night, beginning the first of a four-game homestand.

Last Week: The Broncos (3-1) dominated both of their games last week, beating Bethesda 86-55 and Stanislaus State 62-46 to pick up their first CCAA win.
Jordan Ogundiran went off for 26 points while shooting 61 percent from the floor while the Bronco defense made the biggest impact against the Warriors, holding Stanislaus to under 30 percent shooting from the floor.
By the Numbers: William Christmas continues to lead the team in scoring averaging 14 points a game while also leading in rebounding average at 8.5 rebounds per contest. As a team, they are shooting 42 percent from the field while earning 27 percent from three-point range. Defensively, the Broncos hold opposing offenses to 36 percent shooting from the field and 61.5 points per game, the second-lowest average in the CCAA.
Pioneer Report: Antelope Valley comes in with a 3-5 record overall. The Pioneers shoot 37 percent from the field and average 17 turnovers a game. Members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the Pioneers have played a number of Division II schools, losing only by only one point to Alaska-Anchorage before falling to Biola University and Point Loma.
