POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team continued their strong start as they remain perfect in California Collegiate Athletic Association play with a 77-71 road victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After the Toros opened the game with a three-pointer, back to back buckets by
Justin Young gave the Broncos the lead for the remainder of the game after taking a 4-3 advantage.
- Offense was hard to come by for both teams during the first half as the Broncos took a 27-16 lead into the break.
- CPP held Dominguez Hills to a shooting percentage of 38 percent, including a mark of 22 percent in the first half.
- CSUDH edged out CPP in rebounds 41-38 while the Broncos won the turnover battle 12-19.
- Dominguez Hills cut into the lead in the second half as both offenses improved but the Toros couldn't overcome the deficit as the Broncos shot 45 percent in the second half.
KEY PERFORMERS:

Jordan Ogundiran led the Broncos offensively, scoring a game-high 28 points while also leading in rebounds with eight.
- Also scoring double figures in points was
William Christmas with 17 points and Young with 10 points.

Daylan Lawrence and
Phoenix Shackelford each scored nine points while
Nikhil Peters finished with three steals.
OUTSIDE THE BOX:
- Ogundiran has totaled four games this season with 20-plus points, tonight being the third straight game.
- This is the third time in the last nine seasons the Broncos have started 4-0 in conference play.
- Thursday's win was the first for the Broncos in the Torodome since the 2014-15 season.
