Last Week: The Broncos (7-1, 4-0 CCAA) won their sixth-straight contest last Thursday, edging out Cal State Dominguez Hills 77-71 on the road. Jordan Ogundiran earned his third consecutive game with 20-plus points, racking up 28 points to lead both squads.

By the NumbersCPP's defense remains top in the league, allowing only 60.8 points per game, 3.7 points fewer than second-ranked Chico State. The Broncos also rank first in opponent's field goal percentage, holding them to 35 percent. On top of that, CPP is first in rebounding average (39.3), second in turnover margin (plus-4.88) and second in blocked shots per game (3.5).

Individually, Ogundiran took over the top spot for the Broncos, averaging 17.9 points per game which ranks second overall in the CCAA. His average of 4.9 assists per game also ranks second. Behind him is William Christmas with 16.4 ppg, ranking fourth in the conference. Christmas has also tallied a team-high 63 rebounds this season.

As a true freshman, Phoenix Shackelford has made an immediate impact, averaging just under nine points per game while totaling 11 steals, 17 rebounds and nine assists in 22 minutes per game.

Coyote Report: Cal State San Bernardino have struggled to start their year, entering the week with a 3-6 overall record, going 1-4 in the CCAA. Despite a strong offense, averaging 76 points per game, CSUSB's defense has been the downfall, giving up 77.1 points per game which ranks second to last in the league. The Coyotes are shooting 44 percent from the field and rank fourth overall in rebounds, averaging 36.9 per game. San Bernardino's Jacardo Hawkins leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game, good enough for 17th in the league.
