POMONA – After a short break, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team gets back in action this weekend as they welcome in Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal State East Bay for two California Collegiate Athletic Association matchups.

Last Week: The Broncos (7-2, 4-1 CCAA) snapped a six-game winning streak in a loss on the road to Cal State San Bernardino 70-65. CPP fell just short of a comeback, coming within three points after falling behind by 18.
Jordan Ogundiran led the Broncos with 19 points in the loss.
By the Numbers: The Broncos have relied on their defense for the quick start to the season, ranking first overall in points allowed at 61.8 points per game. Scoring 71.1 points per game, CPP holds the third highest winning margin at 9.3 points per game. The Broncos also rank first in opponent shooting percentage, holding them to an average field goal percentage of 35 percent.
Ogundiran is the second highest scoring in the league with 18 points per game. He has had four 20-plus performances so far this season.

The Otters picked up their last win over the Broncos in Kellogg Arena during the 2015-16 campaign.
Pioneer Report: Cal State East Bay (6-6. 2-4 CCAA) sit just behind Monterey Bay in the league standings. CSUEB is giving up 73.6 points per game while scoring 73.9 points. The Pioneers have won three of their last five games, picking up two nonconference wins. East Bay allows the second highest field goal percentage at 46 percent on the season.
