POMONA, Calif. – Riding a two-game win streak heading into Saturday's road contest, the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team will try to extend their streak as they make the long trip to Humboldt State.
Winning four of their last five games, the Broncos (12-9, 10-5 CCAA) are still pushing for a home playoff spot with only three weeks left in the season. The Broncos are currently fourth in the conference standings, sitting only one game out of second place.
Last Week: CPP recorded two wins at home last weekend, defeating Cal State Dominguez Hills in a 71-44 blowout before taking down Cal State Los Angeles 55-45. Junior
Priscilla Brooks tallied her fifth double-double of the season against the Toros with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Quick Hits: The Broncos' average of 58 points allowed per game is the second lowest average in the league and they also rank fourth in opponent shooting percentage at .371. CPP has held their opponents to less than 50 points six times this season.
Offensively, the Broncos have been efficient from three-point range, leading the league with a .355 3-point percentage.
Chelsea Waddy-Blow is 11
th in the conference in scoring with 12.6 points per game and ninth rebounds per game with an average of 6.7. Brooks ranks third in rebounding, averaging 8.3 rebounds per contest.

Jackie Ricketson who has tallied 67 assists and 34 steals to lead the Broncos in both categories.
