POMONA, Calif. – Cal Poly Pomona baseball honored seven seniors before closing out the regular season with an 8-4 win over San Francisco State, extending their win streak to 11 games on Saturday afternoon at Scolinos field.

The seven players closing out their career at CPP were RHP Henry Omana, outfielder Alex Gaskin, infielder Chris Stratton, DH Frankie Nogales, LHP Matthew Grier, outfielder Daniel Pitts and infielder Jason Padlo.

The Broncos jumped ahead early, scoring four runs as they looked for their third consecutive series sweep. Padlo doubled to score Cody Martin for the first run followed by an RBI single by Nic Hernandez and a sacrifice fly by Frankie Nogales.
