POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona Women's basketball team will look to hold on to the No. 2-seed heading into the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament as they close out their regular season at home against Cal State San Bernardino.

Last Week: The Broncos (18-8, 15-6 CCAA) secured a home playoff game in the CCAA tournament with a 68-63 win against the San Francisco State. They also beat Sonoma State 65-59 to put them in position to clinch a home playoff game.

Chelsea Waddy-Blow collected a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Priscilla Brooks leads the team in boards, averaging 7.7 a game which ranks her eighth in the conference. The Broncos are the number one scoring defense in the CCAA, holding opposing offenses to 58.8 points a game. As a team, they average 67.3 points a game. The Broncos win by an average of 8.5 points a game which is second only to U.C San Diego. In their last matchup against the Coyotes, the Broncos won on the road 60-49. CPP held San Bernardino to 25 percent shooting from the floor.
Coyote Report: San Bernardino (11-14, 9-12 CCAA) needs to win for a chance to make the CCAA tournament. Sonoma would also need to lose both of their games for San Bernardino to make it in. Their scoring defense is third in the conference allowing 61.9 points a game. However, they only average 61 points a game which is second to last in the conference. Kaitlyn Parks leads the team in scoring, averaging almost 11 points a game.
