POMONA - Already clinching the outright California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team finished the regular season with a win as they defeated Cal State San Bernardino 89-70 at Kellogg Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Broncos got off to a quick start in the first half of play, as they took a 13-3 lead after the opening five minutes of play.
- CPP tallied seven three-pointers in the first half as they built a 20-point lead, 46-26, heading into halftime.

Jordan Ogundiran started the run hitting three three-pointers followed by a couple more from
Quentin Taylor and
Jeff Nibo.
- Cal Poly Pomona shot 57 percent from the field, including a 52 percent mark from three-point range while holding the Coyotes 38 percent on the night.
- San Bernardino had a strong start to the second half, cutting the lead to only eight points for the Broncos after scoring the first 12 points.
- Despite the early run, the Coyotes couldn't quiet the Broncos' offense as they rebuilt their lead to 24 points with just under six minutes to play.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Ogundiran led the Broncos with 23 total points, going 6-of-12 from the field and 8-of-8 from the free throw line.

Phoenix Shackelford followed with 11 points while Taylor finished with 10 points.
- Ogundiran added five assists and three steals and
William Christmas contributed nine points and six assists.
OUTSIDE THE BOX:
- The Broncos will hold the first-seed heading into the CCAA postseason tournament, scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
- For only the second time since 1947, the Broncos have won the outright conference title.
- The Broncos evened the season series with San Bernardino after falling to them on the road earlier this year.
- In one of their best offensive nights, every CPP player scored at least one point.
