#25 Broncos Settle For 1-1 Tie With Toros

POMONA -- Cassie Snow buried a 35-yard free kick into the upper left corner of the net in the 40th minute to snap a scoreless tie, but the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team was forced to settle for a 1-1 tie with visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills Thursday evening at Kellogg Stadium in Pomona.

The 25th-ranked Broncos moved to 8-3-1 overall and 4-1-1 in the CCAA.  The Toros are now 3-6-2 (1-3-1 CCAA).
 
In the end, the Toros outshot the Broncos, 13-8, including 7-1 in the second half.  CPP did take three of the four shots attempted in the second overtime period, but none would find nylon as the game ended in a point for both squads.

Broncos goalkeeper Sydney Williams made six saves in the contest while her counterpart, Jessica Neighbors, made one save.

Cal Poly Pomona returns to action Sunday hosting Cal State LA at 11:30 am.
