HAYWARD, Calif. -- Behind 18 kills from
Ally Wilder and double-digit kills from
Jazminn Parrish and
Daisy Duke, the Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to outlast host Cal State East Bay in five sets (24-26, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 15-11) on Saturday night at Pioneer Gymnasium in Hayward.
The Broncos rise to 6-13 overall and 4-8 in the CCAA. The Pioneers fall to 4-15 (3-8 CCAA).
Wilder scored her 18 kills on 52 attacks, erring six times while Parrish added 17 and Duke with 13.Â
Kira Zimmerman passed out 49 assists, Duke and
Jane Woodward each had five assisted blocks and
Brynn Sherbert led four different Broncos in double-digit digs with 23.
CPP outhit CSUEB .181 to .154.
Cal Poly Pomona returns to action on Friday at Cal State Dominguez Hills, beginning at 7:00 pm.
