POMONA -- Four different players scored as the No. 25 Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team beat visiting San Francisco State, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at Kellogg Stadium in Pomona.
The Broncos rise to 10-3-2 overall and 6-1-2 in the CCAA, one point behind second-place Sonoma State and five points behind CCAA leader UC San Diego. The Gators fall to 2-11-1 (0-9 CCAA).
Jessica Llamas was the first Bronco to score in the contest on a corner kick from
Jazmin Duran in the 11th minute to make it 1-0. Then in the 38th minute,
Allison Hung scored an unassisted goal to put CPP up 2-0 before the break.
Only 40 seconds into the second half, Duran got in on the scoring party when she booted a left-footer from the top of the box and into the left side of the net for the 3-0 lead.
Taylor Scott later converted a penalty kick to secure the 4-0 victory.
The Broncos outshot the Gators 25-3, including a lopsided 15-1 count in the first half. Goalkeepers

Taylor Rasmussen,
Amanda Faber,
Cassidy Overstreet and
Daniela Paiz, combined on CPP's ninth shutout of the season, and the seventh in CCAA play.
Cal Poly Pomona returns to action Friday at home against Cal State East Bay, starting at 7:00 pm.
