LA JOLLA, Calif. -- The Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team saw its four-match win streak come to an end Friday with a 1-0 loss to No. 2 UC San Diego at the Triton Soccer Stadium in La Jolla.

The Broncos fall to 5-3-0 overall and 1-1 in the CCAA.  The Tritons, ranked second in the nation, remain unbeaten at 7-0-1 (2-0-1 CCAA).

The lone goal scored in the game found the net at 23:40 when UCSD's Mika Celeste fired a shot past CPP goalkeeper Sydney Williams.  The Broncos were outshot 12-4 in the contest, including 2-1 on target.  The only shot on goal by CPP came just 51 seconds into the second half when Alyssa Carthan fired her attempt right at the Tritons' netminder Angelica Ramos.

Cal Poly Pomona will return to action Sunday in San Marcos against Cal State San Marcos in a 11:30 a.m. kickoff.
