POMONA -- The Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team gave CCAA North Division-leading Stanislaus State a scare in the opening set, but ultimately suffered a three-set sweep (31-29, 25-22, 25-22) on Friday night at Kellogg Arena in Pomona.
The Broncos fall to 7-16 (5-11 CCAA) as the Warriors improve to 16-8 (11-6 CCAA).
Jazminn Parrish led the way with 16 kills on offense while
Brynn Sherbert added 16 digs on the backline.
Cal Poly Pomona will wrap up the 2019 season Saturday night at home against Chico State. First serve is set for 7:00 pm after the Broncos celebrate their two seniors
Kaitlin Powell and
Karah Griffiths.
