Broncos Take #24 CSULA To Five Sets In Loss

LOS ANGELES -- After dropping the first two sets, the Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team rallied to force a fifth set, only to come up short to No. 24 Cal State LA (23-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-17) on Saturday night at University Gym in Los Angeles.

With the loss, the Broncos (6-15, 4-10 CCAA) have been eliminated from CCAA playoff contention.  The Golden Eagles improve to 15-6 (11-2 CCAA).

Jazminn Parrish led the way with 16 kills, chipping in with 15 digs.

Cal Poly Pomona returns home for its final three games of the 2019 season, beginning with a Saturday matchup against Cal State Monterey Bay.  First serve from Kellogg Arena is set for 5:00 pm.
