Ben Mora as the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team blew out host Cal State Monterey Bay 19-0 in the series finale Sunday in Seaside.
The Broncos improved to 17-21 overall and 15-17 in the CCAA. The Otters fell to 23-15 (21-11 CCAA).
It was the largest margin of victory for CPP since the Broncos defeated Saint Martin's 20-0 back on Feb. 3, 2012.
Matt Manskar was a perfect 5 for 5 with a walk, a RBI and three runs scored,
Nic Hernandez and
Nick Peifer each had two hits and three RBI and
Patrick Flynn came off the bench to hit a two-run home run late in the game.
Isenhart (5-4) went seven shutout innings, allowing just five hits and two walks, striking out five. Mora came on in relief in the eighth and retired all six batters he faced, striking out three.
Cal Poly Pomona returns home Friday to host Stanislaus State for a four-game weekend series. Friday's first pitch is set for 6:00 pm.
