The Broncos now have a CCAA record of 2-1-1, and overall record of 3-5-2.

"Disappointed with our groups start today," said coach Jay Mason. "Effort and details were below our standards, and it took us too long to get into the game."

Coach Mason continued, "I was proud of the effort in the second half, and we created a good number of chances, but we couldn't find the back of the net. We have a lot of work on this in preparation for another tough weekend in the CCAA."

CPP's next match is Thursday, October 6th against Cal State San Bernardino in San Bernardino with kickoff set for 12:30 pm.

Bronco Bits: Head coach Jay Mason moves to 46-37-18 in his seventh year (sixth season) at Cal Poly Pomona and 27-20-16 against CCAA opponents … The Broncos are now 180-138-52 in conference matches … CPP is 10-8-1 against Cal Poly Humboldt.
