HAYWARD, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos began their weekend road trip against the Cal State East Bay Pioneers in Hayward. The Broncos expanded their win streak to three games as they downed the Pioneers, 4-0.
First on the board was forward
Jerry Ramirez who scored in the sixth minute from an assist by midfielder
Mike Moser. Midfielder
Oscar Griehsel Facey scored the next goal for the Broncos 26 seconds later, off an assist by midfielder
Melvyn Perez Cortez, tying the school record for quickest consecutive goals.

Max Laguna scored the third goal for CPP. Closing the shutout, Moser scored the final goal of the match as he was found by
Kevin Hernandez for the assist. The Broncos took the shutout against the Pioneers, 4-0.
Leading CPP in shots was forward
Paul Roger Henschke who took four shots on the game, all on target for shots on goal. Midfielder
Harrison Cliff, Moser, and Facey each took two shots on the game. Goalkeeper
CJ Walker closed the game with five saves.
CPP's next match is Sunday, October 23rd against Stanislaus State in Turlock with kickoff set for 2:00 pm.
