Six Broncos Selected to CCAA All-Team

2022 All-CCAA Women's Soccer Team 

POMONA
– The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos had six student-athletes selected to All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women's Soccer Team as announced by the CCAA on Wednesday.
 
Freshman midfielder Marisa Salazar was selected All-CCAA First Team for her performance in 2022. Salazar started in 12 games, scoring three goals in her first season as a Bronco including the game winning goal against Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 9th.
 
Selected to All-CCAA Second Team was freshman midfielder Liberty Ortiz. Ortiz started in 17 games tallying 1,432 minutes on the season. She also scored three goals this past season, including the game winning goal against Cal State Dominguez Hills.
 
Last to be selected All-CCAA Second Team was senior forward Allyssa Larkin. Larkin added three goals and two assists to her career stat sheet this season. Larkin started in 18 games for 1,144 minutes on the field.
 
Selected as All-CCAA Honorable Mentions was senior midfielder Jessica Llamas, sophomore forward Tara Oper, and senior defender Bridget Carbonneau.
 
The Broncos closed the 2022 season with an overall record of 6-9-3 and CCAA record of 5-4-2. CPP made a return to the CCAA Tournament where they fell in the first round to the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles.
