CCAA OFFICIAL RELEASE
 
POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona junior Ryan Fields was selected Track Athlete of the Week by California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), it was announced Tuesday.
 
Fields is no stranger to the award, as he has collected a total of eight selections in his career as a Bronco. At the Ben Brown Invite/AstroAI Distance Classic, Fields added another provisional mark and improved on his personal best in the 400 meter as he crossed the line with a time of 47.27.
 
With that performance, Fields is now the NCAA Div. II leader in the 400 meter, 110 meter hurdles, and the 400 meter hurdles.
 
The Broncos next meet is on Saturday, March 25^th at the Cougar Invite hosted by Cal State San Marcos.
