CARSON, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team picked up their sixth sweep of the season on Friday afternoon, handling all three sets against Cal State Dominguez Hills to improve to 9-1 on the season and 3-0 in CCAA play. Their win over the Toros was their fifth straight, as they are now the only team left undefeated in conference play.

Avery Percival entered the Top 10 in career digs on Friday, passing Audrey Driscoll (2006-09) with 954 for 10
th place on the all-time list. Percival, who recorded 400-plus dig seasons in 2022 and 2023, currently has 125 this fall to bring her CPP career total to 964. The Riverside native spent her freshman season at Hawai'i Pacific, recording 303 digs making her college career total 1,267. She is now just 36 digs away from becoming the ninth Bronco to ever record 1,000 digs.
The Broncos swung well in the match with a .283 hitting percentage, while the Toros swung at just .038 – the worst of a CPP opponent since September 29
th of last season when Stanislaus State swung -.010. Cal Poly Pomona had one of their strongest sets of the season in the second set, registering 14 kills with just one error on 24 attempts for a blistering .542 attack percentage.
Samantha Campion led the team with 20 digs on defense, just the fifth time in her career that she has recorded 20 or more in a match. Campion also picked up her fifth double-double of the season, tying
Sarah Ybarra for the team lead with 12 kills and swinging at a team-leading .579 clip.
Outside hitter
Madison Novak was one kill and one dig short of her fourth double-double, finishing with nine of each. The Lancaster native had five consecutive matches with double-digit kills entering the afternoon. CCAA Setter of the Week
Caitie Mueller continued to impress with 34 assists and three blocks, as she ranks second in the conference with 364 assists on the season.
